![]() I miss my little Jazzy girl! Jessica and Jazz bonding during the first meeting when they met. Jazz really took to Jessica. Barbara Gold (Jessica's mom) and Jasmine Waco’s Jasmine Frost V. Tatiana Jasmine (Chance's mother) flew in from Omaha, NE and lived here with TAG (The Alakkawa Gang) for a while and now she's living the high life with Jessica Gold in Washington, D.C. Thank you so much Jessica for coming into our lives and adopting Jazzy Girl! Photo taken: August 14, 2007 Jasmine was a little standoffish to everyone but claimed me as her own. She loved either sitting beside me while I'm at the computer or sitting underneath the desk when Jade wasn't there. She loves giving snookums (kisses) and all 4 of us use to go on walks all the time. Here are some questions Jessica had about Jasmine: What happened to her family? SHE CAME FROM FRIEND, NE. THE FOLKS JUST HAD A BABY AND THEY WERE AFRAID THAT SINCE SHE SNIPPED AT THE POSTMAN AND THE FED-EX GUY THAT SHE “MAY” SNIP AT THE BABY. SO SHE WAS LIVING IN A WOOD SHOP BUILDING ABOUT 2 BLOCKS FROM THEIR HOUSE. WHEN I HEARD THE STORY THAT THEY WANTED TO FIND HER A HOME, I JUMPED ON IT. What's her favorite treat? ANY TREAT SHE LOVES. JUST SAY THE WORD TREAT AND SHE COMES RUNING Activity? SHE LOVES PLAYING IN THE YARD AND EXPLORING Is she affectionate? YES SHE’S VERY AFFECTIONATE. SHE LOVES GIVING SNOOKUMS (KISSES) AND SHE FOLLOWS ME ALL OVER THE HOUSE AND RARELY LET’S ME OUT OF HER SITE. Does she like to lay in your lap? SHE WILL LAY IN MY LAP PROVIDING I AM PETTING HER. How do you think she would feel about living in an apartment? MY HOUSE ALTHOUGH NOT AN APARTMENT, BUT BECAUSE SHE STAYS IN HERE MOST OF THE TIME, I THINK SHE WOULD DO FINE. What is the Waco Winn line? THE WACO WINN LINE IS A KENNEL IN WASHINGTON. CARROLL PARKINSONS WAS THE OWNER, BUT SHE DIED A FEW YEARS BACK AND MOST OF HER DOGS WERE SENT OUT TO OTHERS WHO WERE ALREADY BREEDERS. CARROLL WAS VERY POPULAR IN THE AKK BREED AND KNEW SO MUCH ABOUT THEM. I WISH SHE HAD WRITTEN A BOOK BEFORE HER PASSING. AT ANY RATE, THE FOLKS WHO PREVIOUSLY OWNED JAZZ BOUGHT JAZZ FROM CARROLL. Would you recommend breeding her again? SHE HAS NOT BEEN CHECKED FOR FACTOR VII, BUT HER SON (CHANCE) HAS AND HE’S A CARRIER. I’M NOT SURE WHAT HER DAUGHTER WAS TESTED AT. If so, what are her specific faults I should be aware of? SHE’S PASSED HER ADULT EXAM AND FROM WHAT I KNOW THUS FAR, SHE CARRIES NO FAULTS. Has she been ever been shown? YES SHE’S BEEN SHOWN A LOT AND I HAVE HER RIBBONS HERE. How many litters has she had? SHE’S ONLY HAD 2 LITTERS AND EACH TIME SHE ONLY HAD ONE; ONE MALE (MY CHANCE) AND ONE FEMALE THAT I’M NOT SURE WHERE SHE’S AT. Have there been any health problems in her puppies? With Chance there are none, and as far as the female from her last litter; NOT THAT I KNOW OF.
This photo was taken of Jasmine right after I met her at the airport. As soon as I opened my front door to my truck she jumped right in. |
