Thank you for your interest in the rare breed known as the Alaskan Klee Kai and especially your interest in possibly obtaining one of my AKK babies. In order for me to get to know you better, I request that you please complete the following information questionnaire and return it to me. You may either email or send via US Postal Service which will delay my reply to you. Our goal is to place our puppies where they will be provided appropriate veterinarian care, proper socialization, and be happy and most importantly loved. It is also just as important that you will be happy with one of my AKK. As we all know, there is no one breed of dog that is the right for everybody, and the Alaskan Klee Kai is no exception.
The occurrence of litters, color, size and the availability of puppies are completely unpredictable events. Nothing in this application should be construed as a promise to provide a puppy or a prediction of how long it will be before a puppy is available. Alakkawa Kennels reserves the right to change, amend or cancel this agreement at any time.
**This questionnaire will become a legal part of the sale contract in the event you and I both come to a mutual decision that you will be able to obtain a puppy from us.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a minimum $500.00 holding fee. This fee is to hold your puppy should you be approved and will go toward the final price of the AKK. This allows me to turn other interested parties and basically you’re your puppy for you. However, should you change your mind and I have already received your $500.00 holding fee, I have 30-days in which to reimburse you this fee.

Please note: All puppies from our litters are sold on a “pet only” contract, which means you will not be allowed to breed for any reason. I will only consider potential breeding quality to those who are presently breeding AKK.

Yes No These little critters are quick and will bolt at any given moment if the perfect opportunity arises, so it is strongly advisable to NEVER let your AKK be off a leash even in a fenced dog park. The AKK is very brave too and will stand up to any size dog, so the owner has to be cautious in every situation during outings and socialization.

Please note the following information and additional charges that will apply:
Ø If we ship your puppy to you by air, our preferred airline is Delta. However, we reserve the right to use other carriers.
Ø All puppies are usually shipped from Atlanta Hartsfield/Jackson airport.
Ø Air cargo shipping costs charged by the airline are additional – they are not included in the basic price of the puppy. Currently this averages over $200.00.
Ø Transportation and handling to/from shipper $25.00.
Ø An additional charge of $65.00 will apply for a crate to fly the puppy.
Ø All puppies must be sent with a health certificate if flown, as this is a necessary requirement from the airlines. I charge what my vet charges and the charge for this is an additional $45.00.
Ø All additional fees must be received prior to shipping. If they are not received prior to agreed ship date, the contract and this questionnaire will be voided.

The Alaskan Klee Kai can be a longed lived animal if cared for properly. I will require (if you are accepted to be on my waiting list) a plan for the care of your Alaskan Klee Kai in the event of your death.
In case of the owner(s) death(s) this Alaskan Klee Kai will:

It is the responsibility of the interested buyer(s) to advise Alakkawa Kennels in writing of any changes of name, mailing address, telephone number and email address. This questionnaire becomes null and void IF Alakkawa Kennels is unsuccessful in attempts to contact interested buyer(s). Each puppy is sent with an identifying microchip, dew claws removed, first and second set of puppy shots, several de-worming, and a puppy packet as all this is included in the price and is further included in the contract.
